Pick up and drop off

This is an express groom salon. We see many reactive, senior and anxious pups that do not do well around other strange dogs. We ask that you arrive close to your scheduled appointment. You will receive a text close to the completion of the groom and will be expected to pick up within a reasonable amount of time.

Fleas

In an effort to keep all pets safe, fleas are not tolerated. Pets are required to be treated with a preventative prior to grooming. If fleas are found the dog will be automatically treated with a flea bath at the owners expense. To prevent contamination to other pets the salon with be completely sprayed and treated as well. The fee is +\-$60 depending on the severity.

Matting

Matts happen! Life gets busy or maybe you don’t know the best way to maintain your pets coat at home. I believe in educating the owner to take care of the coat between appointments in an effort to avoid matting. If your pet is pelted, matted to the skin or severely tangled we will not dematt if it is not best for the dog. Pets themselves are the #1 priority. We will not sacrifice a dogs well being or comfort to satisfy a look. While we are very good at dematting, shaving a dog with tangles close to the skin can result in nicks, ear hematomas, cuts and clipper irritation. Bark in style is not responsible for any of the listed above and is the owners responsibility to maintain coat in between appointments.

Anal glands

Anal gland expression is included in grooms by REQUEST only. Most dogs naturally express when going to the bathroom. Expressing glands too much can cause them not to function properly.
